My wife and I are building a Crown home on lot #16, in the Crawford Creek subdivision, in Evans, GA. This will be the 4th house that my wife and I have built during our 25 yr marriage. So far, this has been the best experience we have had, by far, with building a house.
We shopped around for a house for six months before finally deciding to build with Crown in Crawford Creek. During that time we encountered several local realtors who would warn us about the poor quality of the “Atlanta builders”. Not really finding anything we really liked we kept coming back to Crawford Creek. Vicki and Beth did a good job talking us through the so-called quality issues and would walk us through houses under construction so we could see for ourselves. They also arranged a meeting with Todd Bennett, the construction supervisor, so we could talk about some of our concerns. Todd walked with us through a spec house of the same floor plan we wanted to build and took notes of the changes we would like to make. We became confident enough to sign the deal.
Vicki steered us to a great lot and we are very excited about how the whole thing is coming together. We feel that, in many ways, we are getting a custom house at a great, non-custom price. My wife and I are going to become loud advocates for Crown homes.
